People have forgotten how to disagree. Used to be, we don't agree on xxx. Now, you're filth, deranged, etc. Frustrating, at least. The folks i keep close can have a discussion, but by and large... reasonable discussion is gone. I don't have the answer.

It certainly can’t happen over the internet. I spent significant time trying to phrase my question and explain why I was asking and the amount of uncivil responses was astounding. In a way, it made me callused to the issue and actually anti of the topic.

Literally EVERY time I come back from my two days off, something is broken or missing on my truck. Without fail. This week, it's the grounding cable. That's cool, bro. I was hoping to experience a flash fire this week anyway. If you lose something, have the courtesy to at least let me know so I can replace it. If you break something, fix it or take it in to the shop to have it fixed (we have a mechanic on duty Monday-Friday and occasionally on Saturday) or, again, let me know so I can take care of it rather than finding it broken when I first go to use it half asleep at 6 AM.

I despise my night shift counterpart more and more every week.

I agree. Social media is absolutely a cancer on the world. Ive have never been on any of them and I will take that to my grave. I hate to say this but the govt really needs to take a look into the algorithms that feed all the "news" to people. It is horrible. When I look at yahoo news the topics are just a long list of 3-4 topics I have clicked on in the past and it just keeps feeding that on and on and on. Ive gone back to buying newspapers sometimes because I can read what I want not what Silicon Valley wants me to. Also no F'ing embedded videos and advertisements that pop up and you have to X out to read what you clicked on.

I cant imagine how ridiculous it is on FB or insta or tik tok etc. Its no wonder people are completely unhinged about the topics that end up in a riot with CVS's burning.

And its also responsible for the Gen Z Stare because all these people do is doom scroll on their phones constantly and never talk to any one. Its crazy how I go about the world and people are riding elevators and standing around on sidewalks and they are just on their phones. OMG if we ever create a time machine back to before smart phones these people would slit their wrists. Im getting ready to go to the store and grocery shop and I will bet even money there will be someone face timing someone while they are shopping. That just seems so narcissistic to me that they are so important that they have to be doing that while shopping. I really don't want to hear about your life and GTF out of the middle of the aisle so I can shop!
