I ran mine for a while and it worked perfectly. Got rid of it locally a few months ago for more than I paid for it, so overall I was pleased :)
 
Mine took a dump and died as well. It lasted right at a year. I was suprised it didnt last longer as the only damage to it was a little scratch and dent.
