What adventures have you had? I was in college in Colorado and I spent 40 nights a year under the starts. Colorado also left me a great jumping off point to explore Utah, Nevada and the mountains which make up most of the state. Four wheeling made up a lot of my entertainment. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and that sucker was surely trail rated. I drove down so many old mining trails and used the Jeep to get to the top of many rocks. My favorite camping spot was over looking Georgetown which is just east of the Eisenhower tunnel. Sitting on top of the mountain watch traffic travel up and down I-70 while drinking micro brew was a highlight of many weekends. I’ve also camped in many ‘unique’ area of Utah. Finding camping spots was an adventure in and of itself. What have you done for adventure?

At this point in my life, getting out of bed every morning is adventure enough for me.

I've been known to jump out of airplanes, explore caves, and jump off of very high cliffs into the quarries of my hometown, but those days are all well behind me.

Commercial diver, fisherman, and crabber. Ever see "Deadliest Catch"?

Oh, and I was a porn star.

Vertical caving, I love dropping the big pits.
Here is a shot of Natural Wells, a 187' deep pit in Alabama:

I have been riding Triumphs since I was 19, Dragging and pissing off my bros who all ride high performance Harleys.
I reckon that fact that they haven't been able to beat me or bash me is a pretty good adventure.(not to mention the high jinks we have gotten up to on the way)

x2...that was enough in and of itself to fill books.

But even above and beyond that, good lord, it would be tough to detail everything at this point...you stick around this world for awhile, get out, these "adventures" stories begin to write themselves.

Seeing most of the world in the US Navy including the Persian Gulf during the Iran / Iraq War. Scuba diving a bunch in those places. Camping every chance I get.

9 day float trip in Alaska Sept 05
Philippines mission trip this year
fishing in Patagonia Feb 08
going offshore in the gulf on a regular basis

I spent a year in South East Asia backpacking by myself.
Visited every country there, did some jungle trecking, climbing volcanoes, and a bunch of SCUBA diving.

Having a pregnant wife for 15 months out of the past 21 months has been bad enough :sign:

Airforce in Nam. Good enough for me. Search and rescue.
