I got up this morning after ANOTHER day & night of snow that had me holed up yesterday with no desire to leave my house. I didn't even check the mail for my bills. So, I started making a french press and decided to bring out the garbage now that there is a break in the Snowmagedon we've been experiencing lately.
To my surprise, there was a Amazon Prime box right next to to my front door that I didn't notice on my way out, lightly dusted with snow, and I started thinking.."I wasn't expecting a package." I wipe off the snow and see the handwriting on the wall! WTF? Like a kid on Christmas morning with snow on the ground, I grab a razor and fumble to open the box...
'I have been bombed'...AGAIN...by another brother who's taste in cigars is completely off the charts! Yes Kris, you're the other one.
I mean...I don't know, you guys are really humbling me to death. Seriously. To do this to me, for me...in this way...has me taking pause to give thanks for having such cool people across this great country of ours that I can call friends....and yet, I haven't even shaken your hands or given you a hug. Humbling and emotional at the same time.
Bill, this is a completely insane selection of cigars that I can't even find the words to thank you. Three ELs, the top production CC on the planet, and THE cigar I smoked almost exclusively for close to 25 years in a silver can. THAT one actually choked me up a bit as it brought back some very great memories from a time long, long ago. Deep breaths...
I know, I'm getting a little sappy here, but I truly can't help it. This one was different. The timing, the gesture, the choices you made in the selection, your note, all of it...I keep asking myself, why me?
If ANYONE out there thinks this particular Cigar Forum is just about cigars and nothing more, they are sadly mistaken and missing out on a very special addition to their Lives. Props to Rod as this place totally reflects his personality.
Bill, you have a heart of Gold...and I would like you to know, this meant much more to me than just a cigar bombing from a fellow BOTL...much more.
