I know just what you mean Dave, the box arrived around 1600 today and for the most part everything looks good. I'm suprised that there is not some kind of humidification device but I don't think I have the time to get one before I send the box back out.

There were a couple of sticks that were "unwrapped" and starting to look a little rough so I put them in wrappers. I've been kind of busy tonight so I really haven't had time to get everything ready to ship back out yet............but I have made my choices.

My takes will be:

:D OK Guys I talked with Mike and he agrees with my understanding of the "spirit of the pass" I guess you would call it. I understood that we were going to pick an item that was made in our hometown and let everyone know what we made here locally by posting a little info about what it was that we were sending along to the next passer........

Our claim to fame here in Washougal, Wa. is the Pendleton Wollen Mills. I am sure you are probably aware of what they produce so I won't waste your time with that. I've picked up an item from the mill store for the next guy in line to send out with the pass.........so Roger I hope you enjoy what we make here in "the Gateway to the Columbia River Gorge". :0

I have scratched Vern off of the list and I think my puts and takes from last night will stay the way I posted them. I just want to add one more item that I will be sending along with the box and that will be a sealed Partagas Culebra (Habana) that I would like to go to Mike as a Christmas / Thank you gift for a great effort to keep things together here when things were looking bleak for him. Thanks Mike!

Well.........I put the box back in transit today around 1230. I decided to ship USPS since the nearest UPS is about 25mi away. I used delivery confirmation (# 0301 0120 0000 0040 9123) and put $300.00 insurance on the box.

Glad you were enjoying the Partagas Black. I should have warned you you may require seat belts while smoking this one. Mileage may vary. The next time you come to Hawaii, I may have a few left from the boxes that I have.

Hey guys.  The box landed (with a humongus thump) here in North Carolina.  So far I've opened the box, retreived my jaw from the floor, and ran in here to post this update.   :D
