I got me one of them cell phones just so I could post seegar pics!

I've had a huge increase in Blue Jays this year. They've always been around, but they are thick this year. Probably 8 to 10 out here this morning. My currant bush is loaded and they really like those, plus the seed and water I keep out.

The bluebirds here (not sure what they actually are)usually love my choke cherries, but they're still green so maybe just too early.

Not sure where you are exactly, but it's probably not an Eastern Bluebird (link) because they generally don't eat fruit. It might be one of these:

Blue Jay (link)
Blue Grosbeak (link)
Inigo Bunting (link)

It could be something different, but you'd have to narrow down the location and field marks.

My son uses to have a friend whose dad was. He had peregrine falcons I think, I could definitely get into that.

On an unrelated note, I filled the bird feeder yesterday, and it's already empty!?!?

How big is it? Mourning Dove/Cardinal size, or smaller like Finches?

Oh, I thought you responded to my post about the feeder being empty the day after I filled it.

Me too, it was pretty cool. I’d go out with him and those things would catch jack rabbits and the noises those rabbits made, were crazy!

Are they any good to eat? I love Mourning Dove, but haven’t hunted for them in years.

I don't know, but those Asian doves look like they'd have some meat on them.
