I like Marc's suggestion. The less they do the quicker they will process and may not measure the package. You still may have them measure and charge extra with a printed label. Who knows. I need a cigar.

Many post offices have the scale/label printing thing. I dont know if you can do DC with it though.

Dim Bulb Postal Workers!?!?!? Naaaaaaaa! Can't happen.



Reality: I've sent identical packages to zips connecting and had 3 different charges, took it to a Boxes Etc. and the rates were the same for all 4 packages. Su-prize! Su- prize! Su-prize! Oh! Matt you can forget about the insurance claim, it will NEVER be paid, I'm still fighting one 9 months later. Bastids!

I got the pass today. The only smaller box I have that will fit is really small, just bigger than the size of the container, and it barley fits the file folder. Should I transfer it to that box or keep the old one?

I dunno, Leo. I think that might cause some excesive abuse on those poor cigars. Keep the box and try UPS?!?!

It's hard to say without seeing the box. If there is lots of cushioning inside the tuperdor, then it may be fine. I can't see the situation, so I need to rely on your best judgement Leo.

Is click and ship an option? I typically use click and ship, then just drop it off at the PO.

What's the ups ship time for the next leg?

I dont know, I take it to the PO and let them do it. There is a decent amount of cushion in the tupperware, but if puts outnumber takes that may change. I will look around for another box tomorrow, as the pass cant go out until Tuesday due to the holiday. If worst comes to worse I will use the box I received it in. I am figuring out P/Ts and they should be up for approval tomorrow.

DC# 0306 3030 0002 8319 6790 The DC# might not work for a few days as my PPO is closed and I did it through the USPS cart they have set up where the PO is being renevated, and they dont have computers in the cart, therefore the DC# wont show up until it is submitted at the next location. The package should have shipped out yesterday afternoon.
