New Tatuaje Cojonu 2009

I love the Tats. They are without a doubt my favorite line right now. I say go for something BIG. How about a Salomon or an "A".

Hilarius, I was seriously thinking about this exact question this morning as I smoked a cigar on my porch. I thought, I wonder what Pete will decide to do with the 2009.

I thought to myself....I hope it's a Lancero.

I've been pestering Pete to make Cojonu Lanceros for almost a year now... here's to hoping he does it. :)

Because of the name the taste is the most important a lancero would be a departure.

How about a special Tat for the CP crowd a petit lancero named CP? I'm sure many here would buy a few boxes.

Sorry for the mini thread jack.

I doubt the heavy hitting line will be a Lancero. Corona Gorda, maybe.

Fundi is a real likelihood.

A lancero Cojonu blend would be nice, however I would like to see a Reserva Maravilla type blend. A really dark maduro type wrapper on a Maravilla cigar would be out of this world. Of course I am partial to the Maravilla. The problem with a lancero is starting out people will buy them but then the sells start to slow down due to the size of the cigar. Not everyone has time to sit and enjoy a lancero, then there is the problem of getting the cigar rolled correctly so it isn't to loose or to tight. The brown label lancero is very nice and they do a good job on construction.

I am still waiting on my custom tins of 4x38 tatuajes :D that would be a killer little smoke and I would smoke them all the time.

Not to get off topic, but why can't a lancero be heavy hitting? Have we forgotten how much punch the Double Ligero Lancero's pack?

Maybe think about a petit robusto. I love my 40 minute commute smoke. I only have a few choices.

Maybe I'm just odd, but I won't smoke a lancero in public. I don't know why, and I never thought about it really until now. But I don't think I EVER smoked a lancero in public. Something that just looks wrong about a 6'5 300lb man with a long skinny smoke stickin out of his piehole.

Salamone size would be cool, like the Pepin JJ size. Not opposed to a Lancero either, just think the Salamone size would be a better seller.
Keep up the good work Pete, nice to see you here on our board.

Sizes that interest me are petite lanceros, lanceros, figurados and perfectos!
Please don't change the blend!

Three words: cu-le-bras

Wilkey

What flavor?

I do like your idea though, but keep mine unflavored.
Mango + Blueberry + Rum

Now if that doesn't make your mouth water, you shouldn't be smoking cigars!

But in all seriousness, I think a culebras with three different wrappers would be the ultimate special edition cigar. Think oscuro, maduro, and EMS or Cameroon, Ecadorian Sumatra, and Nicaraguan. You get the idea. Drooling yet? I know I am. :D

I'm enjoying the thought of a lancero or culebras.

I also like the thought of a corona size Tat (5 5/8 x 42RG). With Havana's recent departure from this vitola (several were discontinued this year), I think this is the perfect time for a Nicaraguan puro in this size.

Give the DP cuban classic Perlas a try, 4.25 x 40 ... awesome smoke, Puffstuff has them.

and I agree a 4 x 38 tinned Tat would be awesome.

Tone, have you tried the Victorias, awesome smoke... a CP cigar would definitely be very cool!
