Ummm... not much a drop in hard to find stuff there. Usually after a day the wishes get dropped a notch or two - those two additions are a lateral addition :laugh:

In all seriousness though, Carps, If no one was willing to fulfill the first couple of wishes, in the best interest of the PIF, at least adding one not so insanely HTF item to your wish list may help us move this along.

In all seriousness though, Carps, If no one was willing to fulfill the first couple of wishes, in the best interest of the PIF, at least adding one not so insanely HTF item to your wish list may help us move this along.

I think the family is rarer than the milli, maybe not, but if I wasn't gifted one from a very good friend then I would of asked for one on my lateral additions :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: .

You realize these sticks are pretty insane as well !! I am not sure, but the millis are a very special stick that have not been made since 1999, the #44 is being made as we speak. I had some longos (I smoked them), but again they are not made anymore (correct me if I am wrong) and not easily obtained either. Someone may deliver the BBMF. If I had not just granted a wish I might help you out, but I think it is time to let some others take a turn.

Your right on the longos. You use to be able find them at auction, but I'm not sure anymore. I think they go between 6-700 a box about par with the padron family if made in 25 count box

This is why I don't come in and grant stuff anymore... :angry: I do actually hope somebody grants you the BBMF, given that you granted a PFR, but it also isn't always about "getting your money's worth." I guess that's why they call it a "Pay It Forward." :whistling:

FWIW I don't think the longos is a particularly absurd wish in terms of price. They are HTF but the wish he granted was for a HTF stick as well. Look at the chain of the last few PIFs where 1492s, davidoffs, dunhills, Opus maduros etc. have been granted. These are sticks that cost hundreds of dollars so I don't think his wishes are that nuts, although it might be time to move towards more attainable sticks in the price range of the Padron he granted.

Up one post I added 7. Cohiba sublime. Like I said before I followed this thread from the start and it is not like I have been siting on this. Yes your right on the lateral wishes, but that wasn't my intention rather just adding to the list of things I've always wanted to try. Read more post less is what I typically do and now I shot myself in the foot. The words the pif is dead was mentioned at the start of this thread also meaning alot of people have asked for htf stuff. As I already said I mean not to hold this up. If you know me then you would know that I wouldn't grant a wish just to get one beause one this is my first time and two I normally just gift. I was just publicly wishing, which I've never done. I've always wanted to try a sublime so hopefully that wish is granted and if not #8 will follow :laugh: :laugh:

1. You may make a wish for any cigar keeping in mind that the rarer it is, the less likely someone might be able to step up and fulfill your wish.

4. If no one grants your wish, make an alternate wish or expand your cigar wish list in a timely fashion. This is especially true for those who are looking for harder to obtain cigars. A suggested guideline is that if you receive no response to your wish within 24 hours, you consider expanding or changing your list. Be attentive to the flow. If the wishes-grants are cycling quickly then stick to 24 hours. If the PIF is in a lull, feel free to leave the wish out for longer.

Come on now guys. Did anyone remember that it is the holiday season(edit to add) and many of our members may not be as active as normally are during this time. Let's give everyone a chance to read and catch up on the thread.

Wishes are wishes, see rule 1. (and yes I know about rule 5). Dream your dreams fellas, if it not to be, then so be it.

And who said this is moving slow. Is it because we are not granting 5 wishes in a hour like has been known to happen. The wisher is adding to his list of cigars, making an effort to add options. Did it ever cross your mind that while someone might not have HTF AF#1 they may have HTF AF #2.

IMHO, things seem to be moving along rather well.
