    Damn The Torpedoes Pass

I don't really know. What do you suggest? I was thinking that the original 3 types were required swaps, but more would be better. I don't know what is meant by Cohiba "Red Dot". Does that indicate "non/ismo"? I will post pictures when this forms up a little more. Willie

    Damn The Torpedoes Pass

The typical CP pass is a mix of smokes. I was under the impression that the original cigar box pass involved the purchase of a single box and passing it around. My intent is to get a better mix and try other cigars. The selection I have to offer is limited, but I would expect this would be a...

    Damn The Torpedoes Pass

Hi Gang, I would like to start my first box pass. I am fond of Torpedo style, 50x6", cigars. I have a box of Cohibas, Cuba Libra and Lone Wolf sticks. My idea is to send out 7 sets of three for a total of 21 cigars. I already have a Rubberdor (I prefer Rubbermaid products :) ) and a supply of...

    Colibri Lighters

I just bought a Tiger brand lighter in Mexico. I negotiated down to $30 from $60 and it seems like a good lighter. I have never heard of them.

Guinness Extra Stout - Great Recipe

The plastic thing, or widget, is a nitrogen charge of some sort. Guinness is dispensed with nitrogen rather than carbon dioxide. This give it much smaller bubbles and produces the creamy head. Guinness should also not be served ICE cold, but at cellar temperature, More like 50 degrees. I hate it...

    Lone Wolf

I agree. Lone Wolfs are very smokable cigars. They are also low priced.

    Colibri Lighters

Has there been any discussion on purging air from a butane lighter? I had a cheapie that I bought in Las Vegas. It would work for a while and then be very difficult to keep lit. I brought it back to the shop where I purchased it from. I had two replacements that all did the same thing. I...

    Lone Wolf

Well I smoked a double corona and a torpedo over the weekend. They burned well. They seemed to have a papery kind of taste to them. I don't really know how to describe "tastes" I have yet to smoke a spicy or creamy cigar :) I would not turn down a Lone Wolf or say anything bad about them. I also...

    Monte #2 ISOM

I know of a good tobacco shop in Encenada. They spent a lot of time with me showing how to tell the real McCoy.

    Monte #2 ISOM

I will be going to Encenada sometime this month. I was thinking about getting a box to start a pass. The Monte #2's sound like a good choice. Would this be a smart thing to do?

    Lone Wolf

Yes, it is the Chuck Norris / James Belushi brand. I put them in an empty humidore last week. I am waiting for the humidity to stabilize before I light one up. I have heard from several sources that they are excellent.

Thanks! Atlantic Cigar looks like a great supplier. They have all sorts of good toys! The red vortex is a sweet looking piece. I don't think it is available anymore. Too bad, I would have liked one. Willie

Fuente Hemingways have to be my favorite stick. I prefer them to any of the ISOM cigars I have purchased over the years.
