Thanks for the reviews guys. That is basically what thought about the old Corojo. Decent smoke, but nothing really special. If run across some local I'll give the new ones a go. Hideous band and all. :)

  This is true.  I though I qualified that well enough by the I think part.  The reduced chance of mold is a good point. The fact of the matter is that Heartfelt beads work and work very very well.  1/2 pound in the coolerdor is what I run.  Never a question that the humidity is spot on...

I like 65% beads.  I think 70% is too wet for smoking.  It would be OK by me for long-term storage however.

Hmmm, guess I'm in the minority on this one...  I do agree that the look isn't nearly as important as how well it smokes.  The scorpion makes me think of that FIAT Abarth tho.   :p

Anyone else hate the new look?   I think it makes them look like cheap trendy garbage.  The old band to me looked fairly classy and respectable....     

I keep mine in the basement.  In the summer it is ~65 degrees in the winter 58 or so.  I put an air duct re-director thing on the furnace vent to prevent the furnace air from blowing toward the stash, but that was less than $10 for the magnetic quarter circle piece of plastic.

Home brewed hefeweizen.  Well closer to a plain old weissbier since most of the yeast has settled out in the keg already. :(  Keg is almost drained anyway... I have a Kölsch waiting to take its place.  Yum.

Excellent review! I too recently smoked my first Centro Fino. My experience followed your review very closely. I enjoyed the smoke quite a bit. Not the best smoke I've ever had, but certainly very high in the standings. I haven't gone out looking for a box yet, but I do foresee purchasing...

Partagas regular red-labeled, or Serie S. Quite excellent especially when you factor in they don't cost too much. :)

Thanks for the kind words. It is indeed my first real review. I modeled my review after a few I've read here. :) Yeah CheapSkate I would rather smoke a Mac than a Signature, yet I wouldn't turn down a Signature either. (unless of course I had a better option) Of course, taste is subjective...
