Tea is similar in that its a stimulate but also relaxes such that it doesn't cast off the same jittery feeling coffee or other caffeine drinks give to some people. I second this. I tried this recently and was good to go with the little lady.

Just need a decent malt backbone. Look around for some barleywines, they'll range in the 8-12+% range. I've had that brew a few times, I'll agree that although it definately is hoppy its not on par with a Ruination or something like that.
