As a diehard fan (reading Sherlock actually got me into pipes initially), thanks for all the information. Because of him, I only smoke out of bent stem pipes.

I'm looking at a few and wanted to know what you all thought of them. Are the better than a "traditional" way of manufacturing a pipe? Pros/cons? Fel free to elaborate.

This may be a noobie question, but where can I find it at a reasonable price?

An update--I was at work and an engineer tried to get it out using a very tiny drill bit..it was working until the stem cracked and the pipe cleaner started to push through. Ah well, hopefully I can find a place that can semi- match the stem, it was a beauty. I'll talk numbers with the guys...

I was giving the pipe I got off of Ebay the once over before i filled it or a test run. I guess i used too much pressure because there is now a small section of pipe cleaner IN THE STEM that I can't get out! please help!

*UPDATE* Just bought some FMOTB..another winner. I have this HUGE plain Peterson, shamrock style, that I got for $32 at 50% off, and I love it...my buddy at Holt's also gave me a sample of McClelland's black shag (in honor of Sherlock Holmes), and I'm about to fire up right now. Reviews later.
