    gurgling

I've been smoking for a while now, and no matter how slow I go, my bowl still gurgles...I'm an aromatic lover at heart, and I know some of them are just that damp, but am I doing anything wrong?

March Pipe Tobacco of the month prt. 1

How are VA's, compared to Latakia and Aromatics? Rather, are they about flavor, aroma, a mixture of the two, nicotine content, or what?

    Aromatic vs non?

I've found that the Boswell blends have a nice flavor, depending on if I use one of my Nordings or a basket...I've found that the pipe you use is VERY important. I got my estate back from Boswell after he gave me a new stem and clean, and I find it to be the best smoker I own, whether aro or non...

    Sherlock Holmes

As a diehard fan (reading Sherlock actually got me into pipes initially), thanks for all the information. Because of him, I only smoke out of bent stem pipes.

    Peterson system pipes

I'm looking at a few and wanted to know what you all thought of them. Are the better than a "traditional" way of manufacturing a pipe? Pros/cons? Fel free to elaborate.

    Christmas Cheer

This may be a noobie question, but where can I find it at a reasonable price?

    EMERGENCY

An update--I was at work and an engineer tried to get it out using a very tiny drill bit..it was working until the stem cracked and the pipe cleaner started to push through. Ah well, hopefully I can find a place that can semi- match the stem, it was a beauty. I'll talk numbers with the guys...

    EMERGENCY

Yes, a much older pipe. My guess it was made at least 20 years ago. Yeah, I've tried the opposite end job to no avail. I probably will have to find some guitar strings; I was thinking of that concept. I honestly think that all isn't lost, just that to restore it to pre-clog will take some work...

    EMERGENCY

Yeah it broke..I believe I was a bit overzealous in trying to pull it out, because it kinda bent. When I gingerly pulled, it came right off. I was thinking about soaking the whole stem in atmos fresholator, and I've been online looking for something that would break the cotton down. If it's any...

    Frog Morton on the Town

*UPDATE* Just bought some FMOTB..another winner. I have this HUGE plain Peterson, shamrock style, that I got for $32 at 50% off, and I love it...my buddy at Holt's also gave me a sample of McClelland's black shag (in honor of Sherlock Holmes), and I'm about to fire up right now. Reviews later.
