Casa Fuente is in Ceasar's Palace at the end of the Forum Shops by the escalator............

It's not really at the end. If you come in from the LV Boulevard side (down by Harry Winston, near the Sony store and Villa Reale) the fastest way to get there is to take the escalators up to the third floor, then make a 180° swing around to your right; there's a down escalator at the top of the landing where the steps are (to the left of the hallway that's to the left of Tommy Bahama). Go down and down again, Casa Fuente is on your right -- can't miss it.

If you're coming in from Caesars Palace, go through the Forum Casino into the forum shops. When you get to the fountain (where Spago is on your right) you want to go straight, but you can't 'cause the fountain's in the way, so go around the fountain past Versace and Escada. It's not too far from there. You'll pass Antiquities (on the left) and Victoria's Secret (on the right)... pass Tourneau (on your right) and a little further up on the left; it's immediately past the Playboy store.

Bring your own cigars and buy the mojitos. Have fun. :)

You just missed meeting Rocky Patel at one of the B&M's in town. The Tobacco Leaf

If you are looking for a B&M that is a little bit expensive but has good folks and a nice atmosphere (full wine bar in the back, lounge chairs etc) Check out "The Havana Cigar Company" it's located on paradise just north of Flamingo, it's in a very popular plaza with Firefly (very good Tapas bar) and some other restaurants.

I can give you better directions if you need.

Is that the place right across the street from Del Friscos?

I think the others have the directions to the Casa Fuente ok. If you are not in a mood for a mojito, their french press coffee is pretty good. I would try one of their Casa Fuente cigars (I prefer the corona gorda) but stay away from the torps. They had problems with the caps as well as draw problems. This was told to me by one of the employees. Of course, that may have been corrected by now since this was info I got last summer.

As for another store, I would suggest the Paiute Indian Smoke Shop on Main Street. It is about a mile outside of downtown. No room for hanging out but they have the best prices in Las Vegas!

Yup, Main and Washington. It's a straight up shop though, big humi, not the greatest selection, but no tax so everything is 30% less expensive there. Go there if you just want to straight up buy cigars, they normally have a good amount of VSG's but are limited to 5 per customer.

If you want atmosphere and people, pick a different CF or The Havanna Cigar co, or some other loungier type place.

Limit of 5 VSG per customer? My buddies always go in and buy them by the box when they visit LV because of the great prices especially compared to Hawaii. Is that a new policy?

On another note, last time I was in there I asked why no fuente product. They told me fuente wanted one whole wall for their product line and they said that was too much. I guess they carry VSG because they are distributed by Ashton even though Fuente makes them.

I'd recommend going to Cigar Box, it is one of Michael Frey's shops. They have a really good selection, Opus, LFD, VSG, ESG etc. The prices are a little high, but considering the taxes in Vegas, not too bad. You can also smoke there.

3014 S. Rancho Drive

the actual address for the Paiute Smoke Shop is:
1225 N Main St
and is actually located about 1/4 mile NORTH of washington blvd.

they have a good selection of Romeo Y Julieta, Punch, H. Upman, Montecristo, Sancho Panza and
well stocked quantities of the popular sizes of HDM, La Gloria, Partagas.

prices in general are usually 40-50% less. there are no sales taxes.

i haven't been down there in about a month, but at that time there were no quantity limits.

there are also 2 shops in town that handroll in-house.

they are:
don yeyo
http://www.donyeyo.com/
and
las vegas cigar co.

Call ahead and ask when their happy hour and drink specials are, I think I got like half price mojito's and sangria when I was there.

Also, if you want a Casa torp, don't worry about issues if you smoke there, any problems and it's quickly replaced. Myself and 3 other botl's in from Ohio had our casa fuentes split down the sides and the somewhat lovely ladies handled it immediately.

I don't really have anywhere to recommend other than the Casa or your favorite casino playing your favorite game, or poolside.

Flamino adult pool... good times

Thanks everyone.

I am back and tired as hell, but had a blast. Went to Casa Fuente and had a few Mojitos and an Anejo.
Man do they over charge there ar what ... $19 for an Enchantment and WOAM...WOW!

Overall it was a really nice experience especially with the nice looking women

Didn't get a chance to hit the other shops though, I will have to revisit those shops when I go back for my bachlor party in a few months  :whistling:

Thanks again!

Mike

I have never been to Casa Fuente but have heard a lot of amazing things about it. Is there something in particular that you would recommend? What are the hot Las Vegas Hotels right now?
Thank you for any info that you have. Can't wait to go.
Keep on smokin!

hmm depends on what you're into. vegas has lots of things geared towards target markets, click through hotel websites and the vegas nightlife photo sites and see what tickles your fancy.

if you're younger -35 then i'd say hard rock, at least to party. i enjoy the wynn and probably the new encore as a really nice plush yet understated place to stay, and it's centrally located on the strip, yet not a budget.

call casa fuente and find out their happy hour, they had great deals vs. regular hour pricing on drinks.

Thank you audilicious!
I went to Las Vegas two weeks ago and had the time of my life! It was a boys weekend away from the girlfriends and wives! Now I understand the good old saying, "What happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas"
We stayed at the MGM Grand Vegas Hotel which was incredible. We ate, drank, and smoked plenty of good stoagies!
Can't wait to go back :D

I don't understand why you have random hyperlinks embedded in your posts. If you are shilling, I am not sure who for as each link seems to be for a different outfit...
