I'm surprised about Ken Wortley. He's Smoke over on ASC. He sent me a great welcome bomb when I first got into my internet cigar addiction. :) BTW, just sent email to get on the list for another number. :thumbs:

Actually he did finally get his cigars to me ON DECEMBER 19th!! He was so late in sending them, I could not "mark winnings received" since there comes a point where you can no longer do that. Doug Manz finally sent me cigars as well.

Baldwin kinda ticked me off because I had politely asked him on two occasions if he had sent the cigars and he kept giving me excuses BUT he managed to send cigars to the people who won AFTER I did.


You also may notice that he has not received any cigars from me yet. I'm giving him the same consideration he gave me.............. :p

What goes around comes around. :sign:

BTW, we are up to 29 numbers now

:D Well Mr. Cook and I are having a small "disagreement" about chronic slackers in CigarPool which I hope will work itself out before the next drawing ;)

He's really a pretty good guy but we all have bad days from time to time and I'll let you know how it all works out.
 
Damn, looks like I got one of your #'s too. I'm excited about getting in but this is not how I wanted to get in if you know what I mean. I have 87 and 89

I have sent out numerous emails to the administrator at CPool in the last week, alas without any communication back from them. :sneaky:

I guess members in good standing who are trying to help make it a better place for everyone to participate don't matter.... ???

Makes me wonder if I should turn in my number. They might prefer that...
 
After a certain time, (about three or four drawings) a winner cannot up date "mailings received"

In my particular case I did indeed receive mailings from Robert Beardsley and Jon Baldwin. The other ones that are not marked I did not receive. All of the people I did not receive cigars from have since been dropped from the pool. Doug Manz caught up with his mailings but has since missed quite a few as pointed out in previous posts here.

I had email exchanges with both Bob Beardsley and Jon Baldwin. Bob's first package to me literally got lost in the mail as my first CPIF pacakge to ellman got lost as well. I know it sounds like a far-fetched excuse but it does indeed happen. Bob was kind enough to send me ANOTHER package to replace the one that got lost. As it turned out, Bob and another GNESO member and I met a few weeks later at the Mohegan Sun Casino for a mini herf! Buy the time I received the second package, I could not update my "mark mailings received" section on the CigarPool site. Mr. Baldwin on the other hand just plain mailed his cigars to me so late that I could not check off his mailing. I sent an email to Michael Cook explaining this in hopes that he as the site administrator could update these but it never happened.
 
:angry: I dont mind saying it- I'm a little upset. CC was shining light on those who do not play by the rules, and HE got punished because of it. :angry:

Thats not fair by ANYONES rules. :(

I'm sure CC will get back in, but I also know he won't get his original #'s back, since they have already been assigned and registered.

Its unfair. :angry:
 
You know what I find very interesting ???

Twenty three of the last twenty five people to join CigarPool came from CigarPass and the only guy (Charles Pilkington) who was not from here has already dropped from CigarPool. The only two people to join CigarPool who were not from here were George Dietrich (#32) on 11/5/03 and Mark Harrington (#76) on 12/3/03. Before that, the last non CigarPasser to join there was sometime in the early summer of 2003.

I really hope Michael Cook reconsiders his position as it seems the only interest in CigarPool of late has been people from this site.

CigarPool would be quite the "barren" site if it had not been for our members interest and enthusiasm.
 
I looked back and realized that not only did I get one of CC's #'s but the other # I got was Fast4Dr's. Did he drop out or what's up with that?
