Happy Thread

How did no one notice that I was off by a day yesterday?!? Well, let’s catch up, and tomorrow we return to our regularly-scheduled Dog.

Not necessarily happy, but entertained!

We were expecting rain on our primitive camping trip today so we moved this truck Rim up against a tree so we could sit by it under an awning.

I had a concern from the very beginning that the dead tree on the left could fall at any time. Now you can see the potential result of having a hot fire at the base of a dead tree for a while.

Take note of the Wisp of smoke that is coming out ..... up three and a half feet above the base of the tree. If this tree falls it lands on the jeep that brought us and no way out, twice in one week.

Had a challenging 2 weeks but got my first good nights sleep last night. It’s amazing how a good nights sleep can fix things. and this morning I bought airline tickets to Nicaragua for the 2025 Puro Sabor cigar festival. I’ve been looking forward to the Nicaraguan cigar festival for a number of years. I’m excited to actually be going.
