I’m kind of a dumbass…
Over the last 3 days I have replaced both of our garage door openers, replaced all of the rollers, and wired the safety sensors through the attic instead of across the ceiling. Another project that I’ve never done before, and surprisingly worked correctly when I was done! Two takeaways…the new openers are whisper quiet, and it’s already effing hot in the attic!
In other news, the ole girl got some new shoes today. I went with Kumho Road Venture AT52’s. Probably not the most practical choice for a 2-wheel drive truck in Florida, but I liked the way they looked.

For once, knowledge is making me poor!
Not really happy per se, but funny.
My grandson and I were sitting by the fire, I went into the house to get us another beer. I noticed this new hole in my chair, what I didn't notice was that there was a "still glowing" ember on top of it.
When I came off the chair, screaming like a little girl, with a burnt left nut, my grandson lost his mind laughing.
