A brother on the west coast sent this Panacea, which was breakfast. My goodness, talk about as smooth as silk wrapper, don't recall a wrapper this outright fine. Smoke-wise ( at least for me ) was mild +, which was good as i needed something genteel this morning. Makes me wonder what their other sticks are like.

1960’s Celestials Finos. First half was really spicy with white pepper and graphite. Second half was all honey and graham cracker down through the nub.

Lol! I’m sure you at some point you put the tip of a pencil in your mouth as a kid in school. If you ever smoke a really old (and properly cared for) Cuban cigar that descriptor will just click. Reminds me of an Americano with an extra shot of espresso. Also some dark chocolate and a tiny bit of white pepper in the finish. Different from the Maestros I’ve had, but still good. Thinking 6-12 months in the humidor will do these some good.

Love this place...
I have tasted what I would call “pencil lead” or “graphite” in older Cuban cigars... it’s actually one of the few tastes that I look for, along with white pepper (yes, WPM “white pepper matters”) and nutmeg...
