Anyone remember the lot Code from the box split a few years back? This was my last one and I’m sad I shared that box with you bastards. Lol

I’ve been smoking a lot of premiums lately as I smoke maybe once a month and this was better than them all.
I used to keep a lot of PC on hand. A cab of PLPC, box of monte 4s and a box of these are a great and affordable foundation to any Humi.
So many good budget, Cuban cigars, especially once they have some age on them. I think PL Montecarlo are my favorite.

I have smoked 5 or so. At least 2 of them were horrible and 1 of them got bad half way through. I think they all just need a good resting period.

However, last night I smoked another Mag. 54 and holy hell those are smoking sooooo good right now!

Decided to smoke my last Veguero this evening. Like you, I've experienced these as a mixed bag. The one tonight was not terrible, but not the best one I've smoked.

Thanks to @jfields for the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful cigar, Fuente 2009 Gran Aniverxario " stinki". Could not find any information on the "stinkie", but did find it was built around a Rosado wrapper. The caliber of this smoke was outstanding when I mentally compared to to their current production. Much smoother than even the '26 with a totally different taste profile. The notes were subtle, some nuttiness, a milder spice. it took you on an easy journey that lasted over 2.5 hours as I didn't want to push, just relax and soak it all in. The smoke was ample, nice and tight ash. I didn't realize these were above and beyond their current '64 and '26 releases which I have had. Hell of a pleasurable smoke.

Glad you enjoyed that Ed. That GA is actually made by Fuente. It’s a nod to the family patriarch Arturo Fuente. Excellent choice!

Dang John, screwed that up, but what do you expect from a pug. Being Fuente doesn't change the fact on the greatness of the smoke, and I do enjoy the Fuente line. This is far above their higher end lines. I've enjoyed the Hemingway and Don Carlos, not particularly keen on Opus and I still say this beats those out. Amazing how good a stick can be. Wonderful opportunity John.
