Al, I have never seen you do anything but good for the member here. But, over the last few weeks I have been seeing a lot of "read between the lines" posting/threads going on from your end. If you have had a falling out with Pete, then it should be taken to PM, or phone call. Then work it out or, cut your ties with him. This little playing games thing is not fair to anyone though IMHO.

Way to play along Pete. I can see why it would put you in a comprimising situation to give away free boxes of cigars on a forum.

No games being played. I actually consider Pete a friend, and I was just joking around with him. I would never intentionally put him in a predicament. If he didn't want to be involved in this, I would have put the second box out with his name on it.

I know I am new and all but I think PuffStuff is a stand up guy and would never intentionally do anything to hurt a BOTL. The box of LFDDLC Lanceros are soome of the finest cigars I have smoked and he sent me box 104 signed by Litto himself. I will buy from him again! (Did I win?)

5) I usually send out more gifted cigars from a box that I personally smoke

7) I'll save one box for any BOTL that come up to go fishing with me

Just my 2 cents.....from Al's first post on this, I never actually thought Pete was involved in this. The smiley face was there for a reason. I guess it depends how you interpreted it. I interpreted it as Al just having some fun with Pete.

Kudos to Pete jumping on board though. :thumbs:
 
Hmm...well I don't really have a good reason. I've never tried this particular cigar. Actually, I've never tried tatuaje's in general. It'd be nice to try them but I don't need a whole box...So I guess if I won I'd only want a few..maybe 5 at the most...The rest could be given out to whoever else wants to try them.

So I guess my reason would be:

I would like to try them.

That's probably nowhere near good enough to win though :laugh:

Hello Guys,

I would like to start by saying that I had no idea about this contest.
Al NEVER contacted me about this.
I wish that he would have contacted me before he offered me up.
I am sorry to say that you all were misled by Al saying that I had knowledge of this contest.

Although, I don't normally do things like this only to protect my other retailers, I will supply a prize of my choice and send it to the winner of my choice.
What Al does with his side is up to him.

Hmmm...do I say what I want to?

Al- That was kind of messed up to include someone else's name along with the contest. It doesn't mean squat to me why, but that really does put someone's reputation in a bind.

Pete- That's very considerate of you to play along....although I don't really see what choice you had since he pretty much obligated you to do so.
 
I think the tats should be mine because I will be going to a Bachelor party and wedding reception. Usually people smoke crap like macanudo's and flavored crap at those. Tats will blow these guys socks off and possibly make the groom rethink his mistake he was about to make. :laugh:

Nice gesture guys. I'd keep a fiver for myself 'cause nobody sent me any cigars when I was in Nam. I'd send the rest to our troops in Iraq and Afgan because it's the least I can do for them. God Bless them all.
