    HDTV Help

Thanks for the help all. Since I still have 5 months on a contract with Dish Network I had them send me a HD receiver, I just have to send my old one back. I am going to put up an antenna to get the locals, just have to figure out which one I need, some of the channels are vhf and some are uhf...

    HDTV Help

I finally took the plunge and purchased a Samsung HDTV. What is the best route to go for programming? I currently have Dish Network, and about 5 months left on a contract with them. I can get a HD receiver for another $5 a month. However, I really do want local channels in HD and I remember...

    QUESTION:

I would go with habanos that are on the cut list like Ramone Allones 898v and also the ELs. They may bring some back that have been/ will be cut, you never know.

    MM H Upmann

Strange, I have the 1994 Regalias also and found them to be some very strong cigars.

    Does anyone smoke clubs?

I did a group buy for clubs and puritos(a little bigger, 5 in a box, individually cello wrapped) a few months ago. I picked up Cohiba, Partagas, and Monte clubs as well as RyJ and Upmann Puritos. They all taste a good bit different to me. I like the Cohibas best followed by the Montes and then...

Cohiba Siglo V at $110, only at Tobaccopuros.com

Guaranteed 100% fake. You can't buy legit Esplendidos for 3x that price in Cuba.

    Cohiba Siglo VI

IME 67rh or higher will produce muddled flavors and draw problems, especially with small ring gauge cigars like the Sig III. If you haven't calibrated your hygro you should. Use a jar or a canister, I've had varying results with freezer bags and even tupperware. I would drop the rh, I like to...

    Cohiba Siglo VI

Was it the 2000 Siglo III you got from me? I've smoked about 7 from that box and each one has been outstanding. What rh are you storing your habanos at? -Scott

    Happy Birthday threei

Thanks Robert. I celebrated over the weekend since the g/f is in trial. Smoked a '97 VR Famoso for the occasion, what a fine cigar. -Scott

    MRN's suggested aging times

It is well worth it. IMO there is nothing like a well aged habano. If I had the resources I would definitely age them myself. Since I don't, I buy them aged and don't mind paying a reasonable premium, 25% or less. If your fortunate you can sometimes find well aged stock for almost the same price...

65% beads and still at 70RH

My first suggestion would be to get rid of the analog hygrometer and pick up a digital for $15. In my experience with the salt test I had varying results using a ziplock freezer bag and even a tupperware container. The only way I got consistant results was using a jar. If the beads are too...

    Aging / Rotation suggestions?

I think a box of RASS is a good idea. The only good ones I've smoked had three years of age on them. Also, you can't find them with age on them at any vendors so if you want some that smoke nice you have to age them yourself.

    Advice On Air Cleaner

I'm hoping somone can recommend a good air cleaner that will help eliminate smoke odor. I'm not looking to spend too much money, I'd like to keep it under $200. Thanks. -Scott

Punch Royal #12 and Upmann #2

I like the RS 12, but I like the Punch PC Del Punch even more. I really enjoy the Punch line, and since its not one of the most popular brands its easy to find them with some nice age.

    WHich Habano?

I have not tried a Cuaba yet. Which one would you reccomend (except the Salomones). I checked out a couple vendors and it looks like 98s are plentiful and not too pricey, the Generosos, Tradicionales, and Divinos all for around $150.

    WHich Habano?

    H. Upmann Magnum 46 Great cigar, while opinions always differ on cigars I don't know anyone who does not like these. party Connisouer No.1 Could be the best that Partagas has to offer. They are great with some age on them. I'm thinking of picking up some 98s in the near future myself. Boli...
