Smoke one for me, mates! Keep them passin'!

    22. Unfortunately, hard economic times have forced me to turn to desperate measures, and cigar-smoking is no longer a hobby I can afford. I highly doubt the sticks in my desktop humidor are doing too well... :( I haven't been around CigarPass in a while but I saw an e-mail so I decided to...

Just bought a corn cob pipe yesterday!

So far it's been awesome and a lot more affordable than smoking cigars regularly! But I'm having trouble keeping it lit. Any suggestions or pointers? I've read several beginner's guides to pipe smoking.

Just bought a corn cob pipe yesterday!

Hello everybody, I've been a member of CP for a bit now because I love cigars and a friend of mine recently suggested I try pipes. I bought a corn cob pipe and smoked some aromatics last night and I loved it! I am looking to get into non-aromatic tobaccos and perhaps a nicer pipe when my...

Most excellent! I'm becoming more and more interested in the doings and goings-ons of the CRA and I hope to contribute once I get my finances in order. :)

dried out cigars in 68% RH?

Hmm, interestingly enough, I smoked a Pepin Blue from a sampler I got off CBid yesterday. The wrapper split badly as if it was dry and I barely got any taste out of it.

Rental Cars and No Smoking Rules.

I've never rented a car but I just do the coffee bean trick in my own car whenever I'm planning on carting a few friends around.

What's been your most enjoyable cigar?

Hemingway Signature Maduro that was gifted to me by one of the BOTLs here. A close second would probably be a Padron 2000 Maduro, also gifted.

    Good "Everyday" Cigar

Padron 2000 can be had for about $4.00. CAO Gold, Oliva Serie 'G', Punch Rothschild Oscuro, Hoyo De Monterrey (all NCs) are usually around $3-5 apiece. Flor De Oliva, Indian Tabac, and Sancho Panza can be had for even cheaper, usually somewhere between $30-50 a bundle/box.

Newbie cigar smoker-- where to buy cigars online?

B&Ms in my area are simply way too expensive. As much as I'd like to support local businesses, I'm in college with tuition to pay and can't afford spending $8 on a stick I can purchase elsewhere for $4. I do drop in now and again to pick up singles. From my experience the cheapest possible...

Any suggestions for a creamy medium smooth cigar!

Definitely venture over to the Introduction forum and post a thread. I had one Cabaiguan about a year ago and it was delicious. They're a bit pricey for me, however, and I haven't had another since. Padrons are amazing, as well as many Oliva cigars.

    New Shoe Suggestion

What kind of work do you do? If it's more of a business setting, try purchasing a pair of nice leather soled shoes (Allen-Edmonds, Alden, Crocket & Jones, Alfred Sargent...the list goes on and on). Even though a pair will cost you $300-500+, with proper care they will last you at least a...
