Brought my MG home this morning from the paint shop. Still needs a lot of finishing touches (I have a set of wire wheels for it, among other things). But it sure is nice to drive!

Not sure if this belongs in the Happy thread or the Unhappy thread.. This morning I submitted my letter of resignation to Graafschap Fire Department (effective September 1st).

I have built some amazing relationships and have had many unforgettable experiences. I am excited for the next chapter, but I know part of me is really going to miss it.

There's a secret entrance to Diagon Alley. I think the bus out front is a giveaway, but I don't know anything about Harry Potter, so had no clue.

Hey chin up o'l boy, my dad worked at the Lasalle volunteer fire department in Monroe County. After he left we still went to all the fundraisers and dinners. You may find that you can support in many other ways.

Wife and I had a bottle of wine, smoked a couple filet mignon steaks and had twice baked potatoes with them. We're both full and a bit tipsy. Life is good.
