I was pretty successful at the craft for a while, but the equipment was part of a partnership and divorce was the downfall.

It’s a bit of both. It’s how I maintain my usefulness. I put things she need on the top shelf and make sure the ladder is hidden. Therefore she has no choice but keep me around.

I agree. Taping is better, but that is subjective. I am pretty happy that we (and by We I mean She) decided to pay the guy to paint our cabinets. Now we have to wait 5 weeks. We were hoping to get it done by Thanks Giving so our mothers wouldn't have anything to complain or "share my thoughts with you" about, but such is life.
