I agree. Taping is better, but that is subjective. I am pretty happy that we (and by We I mean She) decided to pay the guy to paint our cabinets. Now we have to wait 5 weeks. We were hoping to get it done by Thanks Giving so our mothers wouldn't have anything to complain or "share my thoughts with you" about, but such is life.

I can paint/stain things I make/build, all day long. But painting a room or rooms, is the worst. Smart wife you got there, it will save many arguments!

I won’t comment on the MIL. I have a tendency to lose my filter, when I’m around mine. Never ends well.

Well my wife and I are blessed in that both of our moms are a piece of work so we have a lot of empathy with each other

If the walls aren’t sweating, you’re doing it wrong

There are two ventilation ports up top, all four windows pop out and the door can be left open. I found a battery powered fan that I plan to buy that can force some smoke out, until then I’ll probably just leave the door open. Just getting out of the wind will be a game change on its own.
