Man, I'm just mindin' my business when out of nowhere, BAM! I get hit with a butt dart!

Thanks for thinking of me Greg, everything came in nicely....................................................................

except it smells somethin' funny in the box, like a dead animal crawled inside and came all over hisself.

Just got done watching the DVD, Jim. I think I got motion sickness at one point but I just stared at the horizon for a while and the woozy feeling went away.

Not sure why Dungeness crab is illegal there, but here they are a delicacy! Made me want to run to the market and buy some to cook. Next time I buy scallops, I'm gonna check if the circles are the same size

Thanks for letting me play Jim!

David, the package arrived yesturday safe and sound. I'll watch the dvd tomorrow and then send it on it's way. One question though, I'm a little confused about something, is the dead rodent suposed to be in there? And if so, what am I suposed to do with it...?

you guys are terrible... poor little critters!

David, I can tell by your reply that you actually watched the whole thing. Either you're really brave, or totally bored! Hopefully you got a chuckle out of it. As far as the Dungies go, they WERE legal years ago but due to serious overfishing they are almost all wiped out. They are on the rise again, but nothing near legal size or numbers yet... but I have high hopes that soon I'll be keeping them too.

This year will make for a better dvd... I have only had that HD camcorder since late July, and since it's waterproof to 180ft I have some really fun ideas to test it on this coming summer. :whistling: Hopefully I can have a few more things than repetitive pot pulling!

That actually sounds pretty cool Jim. Kinda like watching Deadliest Catch....porn 'stache edition.

I watched the video this morning and suprisingly I did not get seasick ( I get seasick if I stand at the end of a pier for to long ). The scenery there is beautiful. It looks like alot of fun and I'd love to try it if you could figure out a way to do it without the boat ( the seasick thing again).

There's one thing I couldn't figure out though. Which one of you is Quint, which one is Brody, and which one is Hooper...? ???

Never saw the shark......:(

So, as for the business at hand, who's up next?

Actually, I like fishing, although I get seasick (thank God for Bonine which doesn't make me feel drowsy). It's not a hobby I can do anymore due to time constraints, but if you catch it, I can fillet it down to little sushi slices (I worked in a seafood/poke store for a handful of years)! As for crab, if it's fresh, I'll eat it raw right out of the little suckers claw!
I enjoyed seeing the wide open spaces of Alaska, although I'd be right behind you if I saw a bear or moose come near!

The only predators that have teeth on the island are the hookers!

Jim has GOTTA be Quint, he put out the fire in the Orca with his little fire extinguisher!

Let's see it Charley!

Ok brother, I'll pack it up and send it your way. PM me you address.

Should I leave the rodent in there? It could be a opossum, it could be a raccoon, at this point I don't think you can really tell anymore.

Dave, in all reality, I cannot do anything on my boat without the ocean  But you saw the water in the video... smoooooooth as a baby's ass. Altho I gotta say that was REALLY rare!

HOWEVER... I do work with guys that have drift boats for the Kenai river, which even the most seasick prone people are usually able to do. I swap trips with them all the time... I take them out halibut fishing as well as shrimp and crab, and they take me and my family down the river for salmon and MONSTER trout (30" rainbow anyone??!)

You just gotta get up here... :p

And don't forget all... there are chapters on the DVD to fast forward to, so it's not as long, dull and boring as it could be. The slideshow is the best thing going IMO

Gary, the package is on it's way! Here is the DC#: 9405 5036 9930 0022 2206 90.Oh, one more thing, seems I was wrong about the rodent. The damn thing is alive! It got out of the box. Took me forever but I got it back inside. Needless to say...it's pretty pissed! Good luck brother..
