Just kicking back and relaxing.
Friday night was a memorable combination of a couple of pints of Old Speckled Hen and a plate of bangers 'n' mash with the Mrs, a HdM Le Hoyo des Dieux, and a trip to the theatre to see A Scanner Darkly.
Hope you had a pleasant Bier und Bratwurst, Wurm!
DR Partagas mini, the one that comes in a tin of eight. The thin end of the wedge, you might say. My first Cuban was a Monte #2 consumed on an open-topped sight-seeing boat tour of Berlin in 1999.
It's true, you do always remember your first...
Moby Dick is one of my favorites, too.
Picking a favorite book would be like picking a favorite movie, cigar, child. How could one choose just one?
I agree, Doc, literature is a great complement to a good smoke, and the following piece of literature is a great compliment to smoking. I wonder...
Tough call. Boone got in before me. I think it's pretty clear he had the right word. However, your competition, your rules. I'm happy to know you'll send him something too.
Thanks for the competition, it was fun!
This might draw some fire, but I'm interested.
How is this thread NOT discussing a vendor?
Instead of flaming the bejazuz out of the next newbie asking where he can buy Cuban cigars, should we send him a link to this thread?
I couldn’t find this point in any of the threads referenced so I thought it was worth making here.
I wouldn't mix celloed and naked in my daily smokes humidor. I rummage around in there too much. Any jostling against celloed cigars will damage naked cigars’ wrappers.
