    OPUS #5

I just smoked one of these a few days ago. You are right on in that these are great, potent little bombs.

    What do you do if.....

I let them burn out, clip the end, remove the band and give them to my brother telling him they are ISOMs. He's always mooching my sticks anyway. baahhhh :p

Wilkey I could use your opinion on this...

Damn brother...this needs to be posted on a physics site, not just a cigar site. Great reply from which I learned alot.

    What's your New Year's Cigar?

My club's NYE party was the 30th so there I smoked a God of Fire 2005 Robusto Don Carlos blend (FANTASTIC), followed by the 2005 BBMF (AWESOME), followed by the 2005 Forbidden Lancero (GREAT). On NYE I smoked a 1926 #9 Maduro (what can you say) and an '05 CoRo (REALLY GOOD) just before...

    Cohiba Robusto...May 05.

I smoked an '05 CoRo as my last smoke of 2005 on New Year's Eve and it was absolutely fantastic. Strong, Spicey, full of coffee, great buzz...just a great mouth-watering smoke. It was the first of the box I smoked (purchased in the late Spring) and these will now go fast as they are ready for...

    Happy Birthday Marito

Really took some time off this week (Office closed, Family, Christmas, my daughter's 6-year old BD follows my BD by a day, New Year's etc.) and just saw all the well wishes. Thanks to all.

some very cool stuff at my b&m today...

The A's seem to be out in force this season. I've seen them in a few locations, usually for $30 a pop. Sounds like the Opus Sharks are from the 2005 collection box. If that's true and they opened the box to sell individually, there are probably other sizes like the Chili Pepper, Double...

    OpusX Fuente Fuente

I hear ya Wilkey. These are not big smokes but they burn for a long time, and I am a fast smoker. I too like to periodically punctuate my herfing with a little bite. I find fresh fruit is really nice as it is refreshing. But sweets work too. Great review.

    Anejo's...

That's WAY too much to pay and that is gouging plain and simple. MSRP on the Shark is $10. Don't know what Florida tobacco tax is, but it's not 180%.

    ISOM cohiba esplendidos

    Zino Platinum

I would agree with both Lee and cc. I have smoked a few of these and find them far too mild for my taste. Yes, they do burn perfectly, as do all Davidoffs. But taste is an individual thing, so as everyone has said, you should probably try one to be sure. After all, our tag line here is...

    got 5 Anejos finally

It's nice when an old dog admits he can learn new tricks :p Actually I was not that impressed by my first Anejos either, but now, I think they are among the best sticks I have ever smoked.

Anyone had/like/dislike these little sticks? To those with any Monte #5 experience, What are they like on a strength scale? How do they measure up as a winter smoke?
