Got into the office yesterday and found a box from Texas on my desk. It was loaded with the finest of smokes, many right off my wish list.
Brandon, I owe you man. I don't know when, but you will be repaid! :whistling:
This was a great pick-me-up on a crappy winter day! :cool...
Sorry to hear about your troubles Bro, so I guess you aren't spending all of your free time working on the thesis? :whistling:
J/K, kids can be both a joy and a pain. I used to love everyone's kids, until I had my own. Now that mine are grown, I can go back to loving even the rock throwers...
Nice catch!
Too bad the reporter felt the need to state that he wasn't really smoking a cigar and he was just using it as a prop. Lord help me if I have to resort to only smoking in tents.
Cheers,

Yup, things are not improving here. Perhaps, like Cubans, we will end up only getting to watch the rest of the world smoking the good cigars.

Hi Boomer52,
To each his own in these matters, but here is what I do: I keep it sealed in its tube inside the humidor until a week or two before smoking it, then I open the tube but leave the cigar in it until I want to smoke it. Of course, sometimes I need to smoke sooner or later than...
I too participated in atuck's charity sale. I posted my thoughts in the BST thread. I just got my sticks today, after USPS has been trying to deliver to me for a week now. I am sure that my sticks are worth close to the $25 I sent for Alan's charity.
RalphWiggum did not participate. RalphWiggum...
IMHO, I think you have some decent smokes here. Although I prefer fuller bodied, stronger-tasting cigars, I do enjoy the RyJ Vintage line. It is the only RyJ line (NC) that I like. I also like the CAO Gold and the Monte Cabinets in smaller ring gauges. The Monte Cabinets I prefer to smoke with a...
Do a search for charcoal filters as this has been discussed before.
If you want to build your own activated charcoal filter, send me a PM.

Bolivar (Cuba) are the absolute worst I have seen from the island. Some have huge amounts of glue that binds to the wrapper. Some are simply put on so tight that you practically have to smoke the band to get it off. Others from the island can also be tough at times, but for consistency you can...
Yeah, but not Monte 2's. I recently found an Opus Fuente Fuente that had apparently slipped off of a small table near my desktop humi's and landed under a storage shelf. Found the sucker when I was getting out Christmas decorations. I bought this one in October, along with a few of its brothers...
I spent the better part of the last 30 years smoking singles and never having more than one box of cigars on hand. A few years ago I thought I would try to see what all of this aging business is about so I started keeping a few boxes on hand to sample as they got older. Then I joined CP and have...
Happy Anniversary
Is this a contest? I think wes888 has it, unless he was supposed to say 15 also.
or else if tomthirtysix was supposed to say HdM instead of JG.

1. It doesn't take as long.
2. It isn't as much fun.
One should note that technique is something of an art when pouring/running water over the soon-to-be-smoked cigar. Ginseng's comment about daubing the cigar with a towel after wetting should not be overlooked. So,
3. Unlike licking, you need...
