Hey folks...
I was chastised recently about not checking in on the boards. Thought I'd pop in and say hello.
Still alive.
Still working more than ever.
I'll try to be a little more diligent about stopping by occasionally.
I was really bummed to hear recently of the passing of Doc. I...
After being gently reminded recently that the CP board was still alive and well, I thought I'd stick my head in and see who was still around.
It is nice to see some familiar names on the boards. I'll see if I can be a little more consistent about stopping by and participating.
Please excuse...
Well, I thought we had a full league.
The Original CC-CPFFL, dating back many years now is in need of one additional manager. We had a full league up until recently but one guy had to bow out. This is not a rookie league, and it's not a 'funsie' league. If you are selected to play you will...
Our Beloved 'Two-Bits' is no longer with us. For about 16 years, he was part of our family. My youngest daughter has never known the house with out him. The only part about dogs I don't like is the 'losing' part.
I've got relatives I would have shed fewer tears over.
So long good...
I've got a mid-sized desktop humidor. It probably could hold 80-100 smokes. It's the regular box type with two drawers in the lower part. I've had it for 3-4 years now and up until the last several months, it has kept my cigars at a pretty constant range.
I came across an extra digital...
It looks like we'll have at least one opening in our big league this year, perhaps a couple more. This is the original fantasy football league that Neal ran for so many years. There are some pretty strong competitors here, so if you are interested, you'll need to bring your 'A' game.
PM me...
GO MAVS!!
I love the Mavs and I'd love to see them win, but aside from that, this has got to be one of the most exciting Championship series I've seen in a long time.

Grabbed a smoke out of the desktop humi tonight that I have been eyeballing for a while now. It's lasted this long mostly 'cause I can't remember what the hell it is. It was an unbanded stick and I'm pretty sure I didn't buy it.
I think it is a Johnny-O shaggy. About 7" and probably a 52...
Visited the Shiner Brewery Tuesday. Had a good time and drank some really fresh beer.
The brewery is really not on the way 'To' anywhere but it is worth the trip. The production floor was pretty cool to see. We tried some of their latest brew, '102' and it was pretty tasty.
I...
What is it with Sharks?
I've had a couple and both burned like hell. Uneven. Split wrapper. Nice flavor but tough to enjoy. I felt like I had to use some scotch tape to hold the bitch together long enough to smoke it.
Now I find this in my humidor.
I guess this one could wait to come...
We had some fun over the weekend. Sunday, we rode up to Ada Oklahoma to see the Cannonball motorcycles stop in for a lunch break.
About 40 vintage motorcycles, all pre-1916, running coast to coast from Kitty Hawk to Santa Monica, over the period of about 2 weeks. Riders get points for all...

Wow! This must set some kind of record eh...
...but a damn fine smoke.
Believe it or not, I had not had one of these before. I picked this one up in a pass several months ago, a Churchill. I don't smoke the longer sticks very often but this one made my night! A lot of pepper & spice I thought. Real strong finish.
I'm curious now...
