Happy Thread

Our clinic is 1.5 years old and is the 3rd or fourth one opened out of 8 all in Mississippi. We are more than doubling the total patients seen and 1.5 times higher profit than our number two clinic. This was a record week with us seeing 130 patients with one front desk person, me, and to techs in the back of the house. As I am trying to teach the other nurse practitioners and physician assistances, surprisingly, personal touches to advertisement works.
So you're getting another billboard?

i just looked up NP... I had no idea you were like a doctor, seeing and diagnosing patients and writing prescriptions (I could think of a few things I could use 😂)

Well done brother!

Yeah, the age of medicine is categorizing us as general providers that allow easier access of care to lower income regions (mainly cause we don’t cost near as much as a doctor would) where as doctors are starting to be considered specialists since they have so much more training than we do. I specialized in orthopaedics cause I don’t want to look at dirty genitalia all day in primary care.

I treat almost all bone and joint issues in my clinic, and if it needs a surgeon, rheumatologist, or primary care physician then I refer them out.

after this past month, me and you both brother lol

Advertising is critical these days for healthcare providers. I sell marketing solutions too along with EMR and Billing solutions to the outpatient therapy market (PT, OT, SLP). We have over 17,000 clinics and ran some statistics from the start of Covid 19 to now. At the beginning of March there was an 85% decrease in the # of patients visits nationwide for our customers. Obviously these numbers fluctuated state to state but show how huge of an impact there was. Practices that are using an active marketing strategy have recovered to around 90-95% of their normal volume prior while practices without any marketing in place are still down in the 50-60% range.

I feel ya there. All of our clinics dropped 50% and are almost at full recovery, while we recovered and increased another 30%.

Happy Jeff @CigarStone came down to Virginia for a surprise visit last night for the weekend. Had a little too much fun last night, and were both pretty shit faced in this picture. We’ve been a bit slow today. He’s wanting to see what a seafood boil is all about tonight.

Nice shit faced grin John! I need to somehow swing a trip, to test out that new deck of yours. I said deck, you pervert.

Looks like you guys had fun!

That looks like an old Monty band on that cigar...
Nice catch! 1970’s Monte No. 3’s. Not from that recent sealed box, but another one I have. Excellent cigars! Even while “happy drunk” (not sloppy). Actually, I think that mood made them even better. Jeff pegged something I never did myself. I kept telling him there’s something I couldn’t pinpoint that I loved in their profile. He said he got the burnt candi top of a creme brûlée with just a touch of the vanilla and I was blown away. That’s it!
