Tasted the Nica Libre Thursday night. Perhaps a designer imposter Padron X000 series; definitely not the real thing but it did have similarities. I found it milder, sweeter, and creamier than Padron, think they might make a great morning cigar..
Great review Mark.. Looks like a beautiful Hill Country day. I haven't been down there in 5 years now.
Zach, you should try fly fishing the San Marcos for Guadalupe bass, the state fish of Texas!
The Robusto size seems to be the strongest. When the box of these is fresh/young they are incredibly strong IMO, but in 6 months the strength really tapers; a cigar with a half life you could say. I am a big fan of everything coming out of Tabacalera Tropical. Depending on the price you are...
Love fried bologna! There is a lil' tavern about a 20 minute drive North from my parent's house that is famous for theirs..

I was a saphire drinker exclusively in the past but have come across several Gins lately that will now have a spot in my liquor cabinet.
Junipero
Hendricks
No. 209
The Junipero I prefer for the Martini; the Hendrick's with Schweppes for the G&T. The 209 is very good in either but I can't find...
Big fan of Red Breast, tried a bunch of others but none come close IMO. I have been wanting to try Green Spot for ages, I am on that order AVB! :-)
Also just tried Knockeen Hills Poteeen, gonna order some Bunratty's soon.
Long time no post :whistling:
AVB is Paypal OK?

Having a hard time deciding if the lips or nips on her are sexier! Of course its been soo long since I've gotten some I think I would find Aunt Bea (from the Andy Griffith show; I don't have an Aunt Bea) in that pose sexy!

And here I thought after reading the "newbie wars" thread the newbies to CP weren't a bunch of "what's in it for me?" type fellows! :p

The Maximus #5 is excellent. I pick them up from time to time and they are a favorite of mine to send out in trades/bombs/lotterys because although a little hard to obtain they don't suffer from price inflation like PAM, Opus, 100 Anos do.

I have had several of the 2004 Tributes and all were excellent. The taste reminded me of AF Hemi Sig Maduro but of course the Honduran vs Dominican differences were there.
I have had burn and draw problems with the Exodus 59 gold and silver, and their Brick bundles; but all of the Signaure...
I love all 3 of the Honduran SP Robusto/Rothschild Vitolas: The Extra Fuerte Pamplona, the Double Maduro Quixote, and the original Valiente. You can pick up a box of each (60 cigars!) for under $140 shipped. I recommend having a box of each in your coolerdor at all times!

I have gone through 3 boxes of the DM Quixotes since discovering them last year. A great cigar at twice the price IMO. Same factory and blender sticks that are must trys if you like the SP DM: Belinda Black, El Rey Del Mundo, and Hoya De Monterray Selection Royale.

The Cat speaks the truth! I have owned new American, Japanese, and European (Sweden!) cars and I will probably be stuck with the higher maintenance costs for life now. I don't know if you care to call it soul or personality, but the three Asian imports I have owned lacked it.
